She absolutely loves chin scratches, pets, and attention, and she is more than happy to reward you with her purrs! She’ll even roll onto her back for tummy scratches and is a wonderful cuddler.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePersi has done wonderfully with her foster family’s older children and loves sitting and cuddling with them. She enjoys catnip but isn’t particularly interested in playing, preferring to spend her time relaxing in her cozy little bed or enjoying some attention from her people. She has become more confident in her foster home and doesn’t hide nearly as much as she did initially.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs a senior girl, Persi does have a few additional needs. She is prone to conjunctivitis and will need \u003cstrong\u003edaily over-the-counter probiotics\u003c\/strong\u003e to help support her immune system. She is also currently carrying some extra weight and will need to continue working toward a healthier weight so she can groom herself more easily. Persi has no teeth, but interestingly, she prefers dry food over wet or moist food!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ePeaches\u003c\/strong\u003e is a gorgeous, quiet boy who is much more reserved. He can be quite shy and nervous, especially when faced with new people or a new environment. His foster family has found that he needs time to decompress and feel safe before he can truly relax.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOnce he feels comfortable, Peaches will purr and accept pets, but he still prefers to have a safe place where he can retreat, hide, and sleep. He enjoys exploring once he settles in and absolutely loves catnip, especially catnip toys! He has also done well with older children and enjoys having them around.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePeaches is currently eating \u003cstrong\u003eHill’s Prescription Gastrointestinal Biome food\u003c\/strong\u003e and is doing very well on it. His adopters can choose to transition him to a non-prescription gastrointestinal diet if they wish, but he is currently thriving on his prescription food.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePeaches and Persi will need a patient adopter who understands that their transition into a new home may take some time. They’ll need quiet spaces where they can retreat, plenty of patience, and the freedom to settle in at their own pace.
